Austrade San Francisco Landing Pad

Published: Tuesday, 18 December 2018

In late 2018, Aubot participated in the Australian Trade and Investment Commission’s (Austrade’s), Landing Pad program, which helps successful Australian companies expand to the USA.

We worked out of San Francisco for several months. It was great to learn about the SF eco-system and meet other launched Australian companies in the USA. Austrade also ran workshops on legal, HR, marketing, and the cultural differences between the USA and Australia.

I love living in San Francisco. The people here are so curious and creative. And people here think big! I am constantly in awe of what people here have accomplished. I’ve made so many new friends and I’m excited about thinking bigger and doing even more!

Ten companies are selected each batch - here I am with some of the other founders in the batch, on the first day of the program when they were showing us around the space!
